Reading offline means reading without a notification arriving halfway through a verse. A file on our own device works on a plane, in a hospital, and during an outage.
And a text we hold cannot be edited by anyone later. God says He preserves this book Himself: “Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.” [15:9] A copy in our own hands is how that promise reaches our shelf.
Below is the whole Quran in several formats, and then something more unusual. Short collections, gathered for particular moments in a life.

A Note on Formats
The PDF is the one to print. It is set at A5, so it reads well on a tablet and binds sensibly at a print shop. It carries the English, the subtitles and every footnote.
The web page file is the most complete. One file, opens offline in any browser, and it keeps the Arabic beneath each verse. For a PDF with the Arabic in it, open that file and print to PDF from the browser.
Plain text is for searching and quoting. JSON is for building on.
All of these come from the same text the reader on this site uses. They agree with each other by construction.
Questions About the Files
Which file should most people download?
The PDF, unless there is a reason not to. It is the one that prints, reads well on a tablet, and carries the subtitles and every footnote. The single web page file is the one to take if the Arabic matters. It opens in any browser with no signal, and it keeps the Arabic beneath each verse. Plain text and JSON are for people who want to search, quote or build something. Nobody needs those to read.
Is there a cost, or a sign-up?
No. Nothing here asks for an email address, a name or a payment. Every file is served from this site and not from a third party, so no download is tracked anywhere else either. The files carry no licence and no watermark. Print them, copy them, hand them to someone.
Which translation is this?
Quran: The Final Testament, translated by Rashad Khalifa. Every page on this site quotes the same text. That consistency is the point. A quotation on a page here, the verse in the reader, a search result and a downloaded file are all the same words. One source generates all of them. It is worth reading any verse against another translation as well. Nothing on this site asks to be taken on trust, including its choice of translation.

Verses for Difficult Times
For grief, fear, illness, loss and the seasons where nothing works. Sixteen passages, no argument and no instruction in any of them. It opens at 2:155-157, where the test is announced before it arrives, and closes at 2:286, which tells you its size. Short enough to read in one sitting when reading is hard. Download it while things are fine.

Verses About God's Mercy
For anyone who was taught to fear God more than the text itself asks. Read it straight through and watch where the emphasis falls. 6:12 and 6:54 both state that He has decreed mercy as His own attribute, and 25:70-71 goes further than forgiveness — sins converted into credits. 39:53 is the one to start with and the one to come back to.

A move, a marriage, a birth, a new job, or a genuine fresh start after something went badly wrong. Fifteen passages about change. About provision arriving from somewhere you were not watching [65:3], and about the small habit of never announcing a plan without saying God willing [18:23-24].

How to Use the Collections
These are for the days when study is out of reach, not for study itself.
Print one and put it somewhere physical. A drawer, a bag, a bedside table. A file on a phone is easy to forget about, and the moment it is wanted is rarely a moment for browsing.
Give them away. Nothing here is licensed, watermarked or tracked. If a file helps one person read the Quran who would not otherwise have, it has done its work.

Questions About the Collections
What is in a thematic collection?
A short set of passages on one subject, in this translation's wording, with nothing added. There is no commentary in them and no argument. Each is a few pages, meant to be read in one sitting or opened at any page. They exist because on a hard day nobody wants a search box. They want the verses already gathered.
Can we print these for other people?
Yes. That is what they are for. There is no licence to observe, nothing is watermarked, and nothing is tracked. Print as many as are useful and hand them out. The only thing we would ask is that the translation stays credited, which it is on every file, so that anyone who wants to check a verse knows where to look.
