Daybreak

In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bis'mi l-lahi l-raḥmāni l-raḥīm

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ

qul aʿūdhu birabbi l-falaq

"From the evils among His creations.

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

min sharri mā khalaq

"From the evils of darkness as it falls.

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

wamin sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab

"From the evils of the troublemakers.

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ

wamin sharri l-nafāthāti fī l-ʿuqad

"From the evils of the envious when they envy."

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

wamin sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad
